WHY ORGANIC COTTON? Conventionally grown cotton is the most heavily treated crop on the planet. It depletes and pollutes
water, and poisons underpaid workers.
The horrors of pesticide use will never make it into the
mainstream media when half of their product sponsors couldn't exist without the use and abuse of pesticides, herbicides and
dangerous chemicals? Most children are born today with over 70 dangerous chemicals in their blood. Why is there a cancer epidemic?
Tissues in under circulated areas such as breasts accumulate chemicals ingested in conventional food. Conventional farmers
will overuse pesticides to save a crop. The FDA is not out in the field controlling pesticide use. We will never
hear the truth from mass media scources about pesticide's effect on humans and animals. Most food sold is now GMO, including
the food at Whole Foods. Do we know what the effects of GMO food is on our bodies? Many farmers are admittedly
unwilling to eat the food that they themselves grow.
Approximately 200,000 deaths occur worldwide
due to pesticide exposure. The more demand we put out for organic cotton, the more growers will be forced to switch over to
